It’s great to see efforts being made in Sacramento to tackle California’s housing crisis. These bills could make a real difference, but the key will be making sure the housing that’s built is actually affordable for people who need it the most. It’s going to take collaboration between cities, developers, and communities to make these changes work for everyone.

This is an insightful analysis — I appreciate how it highlights the real challenges and opportunities in state-level housing policy. Thoughtful legislation like this is precisely what communities need to balance growth with affordability.
