Shopping:
​Santa Cruz County has an abundance of stores, big or small, to find what ever you are looking for. From grocery stores, to surf shops, to bookstores and artisan stores, Santa Cruz County has a bit of everything and leaves little to desire.

Transportation:
Students may feel limited on where they can go without a car, but the county provides many options for getting around. With a city bus system that runs directly onto the UCSC campus and routes to downtown and Capitola, students do not have to feel isolated on campus.
