Adding an Event to the Chamber Community Calendar
The Santa Cruz County Chamber welcomes members to list upcoming events hosted or sponsored by Chamber members. Your event listing on the Chamber website will help people learn about your event, register to attend, and learn about your event's sponsors. You can enhance your event by completing all the fields on the submit event form and using HTML tags to format the text in your event listing.
A Couple of Rules:
The community calendar is not to be used for profit making ventures. Non-profit organizations may use the calendar for events that charge fees or sell tickets, but may not directly solicit funds on the calendar. If fees are to be charged, that information should be included in the announcement. If workshops, classes or other events are free to the public and sponsored by a for-profit organization, these events may be included on community calendar so long as there is no attempt to influence monetary exchange. (A visit by an author appearing in a bookstore would be acceptable, a book signing party would not.)
Workshops, classes or events sponsored by individuals or for-profits with a fee will not be permitted on Community Calendar.
Fundraising events for non-profit organizations, political candidates, or individuals will be permitted with no direct solicitation for funds to be broadcast. These announcements shall be neutral in nature.
If you are submitting an event series, please make a separate submission for each event date. Our calendar does not support multi-date submissions.
