Beyond Participation
The Chamber is continually adding data, analysis, and perspective to its vast store of resources that informs our collective knowledge of our economic environment. By staying abreast of the work, the progress, and the current thinking of the Chamber, you are contributing to our economic ecosystem that drives the vision, ideas, and inspiration that will keep Santa Cruz County vital and prosperous.

Make Connections
Chamber connections are your gateway to the business community. Your customers, suppliers, industry principals, public decision makers, and potential employees are likely to be found at a breakfast, lunch, or event... in a Chamber news story or as a sponsor of a Chamber event... advocating with others from the Chamber to improve our economic environment and support new businesses in their efforts to take root and grow in Santa Cruz county.

How to Get Involved for Connections:
- Sign up to receive the Chamber Calendar and other email distributions
- Attend Chamber events as often as you can – your consistency builds relationship, rapport, trust, and friendships that help you grow personally and professionally.

Opportunities to volunteer at the Chamber are available throughout the year. Build stronger relationships with other Chamber members through volunteer work in various areas, including Community Affairs Committee, Finance Committee, Membership & Marketing Committee, the Business Expo Committee, the Annual Recognition Dinner Gala Committee, and special events. Most committees meet once a month for two hours.

- Join a Chamber Community of Interest and/or provide your talents, time, and service on one of the Chamber committees:
- Ambassador Program (a team of Chamber members who volunteer to engage with new and current members, Chamber event participants, and the Santa Cruz Community on behalf of the Chamber)
- Community Affairs (a committee that identifies issues affecting our community and develops forums and programs to examine and act on those issues at the local and state level)
- Finance Committee (must be on the Chamber Board of Directors)
- Membership & Marketing Committee (a committee that focuses on brand marketing and enhancing membership)
- Events Committee (a committee that focuses on planning and assisting with Chamber events)
- Offer to help on a committee for any of the Chamber annual events – Business Expo, Community Recognition Gala, and the Community Leadership Visits.
