Museo Eduardo Carrillo was founded in 2001. It is the only artist foundation in the United States to represent a Mexican - American Artist. Museo hosts on-line exhibitions.
Eduardo Carrillo (1937-1997) was Professor of Art at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1972-1997. He was a beloved mentor.
Carrillo performed a role that so many first generation Californians play: of translator, storyteller and holder of culture. His art demonstrates a reverence for his Latino roots, a joy in the practice of painting and a respect for the life force within everything.

Baroque music opens the world of historic sound, and can lead both musician and audience on countless voyages of musical discovery. Travel through time with our performers and hear the amazing 'new' sounds of 'old' instruments and music. — Dr. Linda Burman-Hall, Artistic Director and visionary founder Since its inception in 1974, the Santa Cruz Baroque Festival has continuously championed early music, while offering concert audiences related medieval to contemporary repertoire. Signature innovations include world premieres of music not heard in centuries, baroque and post-baroque music from Bach to Beatles, new world premieres from 21st century composers, and Cosmos: The Art of Fugue featuring a performance of Bach's masterwork with deep space images. As a non-profit 501(c)(3), we welcome advertisers and donors. A free preconcert talk is held one hour before our concerts. Join the 'Friends of the Baroque Festival' on the voyage this Festival Season! www.scbaroque.org https://www.facebook.com/scbaroque
