Bed & Breakfast
Great for a romantic getaway or a relaxing home away from home, Bed and Breakfast accommodations are home-like properties where guests to stay in a bedroom (sometimes with shared bath facilities). Many Bed & Breakfasts offer full breakfast in a common dinning room area or in your guest room.
In addition to guest rooms with daily housekeeping service, Full-Service Hotels typically have a restaurant. Many Santa Cruz full-service hotels also have pools and other facilities on site.
Hotels, Motels & Inns
Hotels, Motels, and Inns feature guest rooms but no on-site restaurant service. At motels, parking is provided at or near guests room and the room door opens out onto the parking lot. Motels usually do not have restaurants. Inns are usually smaller buildings with fewer guest rooms than a hotel
or motel. Some offer dining on site.
