Work and Business in Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruz region is an interconnected network of tourism, education, agriculture, research, and technology. A talent-rich community of small and medium sized businesses, we thrive on creative risk and leading-edge development.

Our eclectic business community includes blue-tooth head set design and biologic cancer-research tools, advanced bicycle technologists and surf board craftsmanship, tours of redwood forests by zip-line and of the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary by kayak, leading organic farms and the overnight delivery of gourmet fruits and vegetables.

Communities of Interest

The Chamber supports networks focused on the interests and needs of our members. These Communities of Interest are formed around topics such as community affairs, women in business, retail business, and marketing. They collaborate on projects, produce events, and share information. Please let the Chamber know if you would like to gather a community of interest around a topic that interests you.

Chamber Committees

Build stronger relationships with other Chamber members through volunteer work in various areas, including Community Affairs, Finance, Marketing, Membership, Women in Business, the Business Fair, and special events. Most committees meet once a month for a couple of hours. Please contact the Chamber to let us know if you would like to get involved with one of our committees.

We are your Chamber

The Santa Cruz Chamber is a non-profit organization made up of of local Santa Cruz County business people, civic leaders, non-profits, and community members. We are not associated with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. We are an independent chamber focused on our local mission – to promote Santa Cruz County’s economic vitality and prosperity. Our committees and Board are made up of volunteers from our local neighborhoods who work together to use our community's talent and innovation to build a better community and improve the economy and quality of life in Santa Cruz County. We welcome new members from all over Santa Cruz County, and value our current members, some who have belonged to the Santa Cruz Chamber for almost 100 years.
