Ehibitors and sponsors at the 2011 Santa Cruz Business Fair
The 2011 Santa Cruz Business Fair gave Santa Cruzans a chance to learn about the businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals who are making waves in the new economy. Take a moment to learn more about everyone who made the 2011 Business Fair the most successful in its 22-year history.
Making Waves in the New Economy
The 2011 Business Fair was a great opportunity to experience the many unique, talented, and creative people and businesses of Santa Cruz County who are making waves in the new economy.
100 businesses and nonprofit organizations introduced their products and services to the approximately 2,000 attendees at the 2011 Business Fair. Local food, wine, and beverage companies served up complimentary samples of their creations as visitors walked through the Cocoanut Grove Grand Ballroom and Sun Room to visit the exhibitor’s booths and take in the gorgeous views of Monterey Bay as the rains cleared and the sun came out.
Visitors learned the latest on what’s happening in Santa Cruz including booths featuring City economic development projects and an interactive booth where you could design your ideal downtown, plus information about efforts underway to revitalize Santa Cruz shopping areas.

Special guests at the 2011 Santa Cruz Business Fair were the Santa Cruz Derby Girls, who shared information about their league, the game, and how the community can be involved in supporting this local sport. Several team members represented the league in full uniform (including skates!) and sold raffle tickets. The All Shook Up Band is a fifties rock and roll band who met playing ukulele in Santa Cruz. All Shook Up played during the Business Fair to an enthusiastic audience.

2011 Volunteers
None of this would be possible without the tireless effort by our Chamber staff, board members, and volunteers. Thanks to everyone who helped plan the Fair, set up and clean up, staff the booths, and take care of the details that made the event so successful.
