Exhibit at the 2010 Business Fair:
How To Santa Cruz
March 17, 2010 at the Cocoanut Grove, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Register today to exhibit at the Chamber’s 21st Annual Business Fair, Santa Cruz’s premier opportunity to connect face-to-face with new customers. The Fair will return to its traditional late-afternoon three-hour format at the Cocoanut Grove. But this year exhibitors will have the benefits of the Fair’s “store front for a day” in a virtual form for nine months. Using emerging tradeshow technologies and Web 2.0 social media, your investment will include
presence in the Chamber’s a Virtual Business Fair until December 1, 2010 as well as participation in the Chamber’s exciting new member-marketing product, How To Santa Cruz.
How To Santa Cruz is both the title of this year’s business fair and a social media marketing initiative the Chamber has developed to give members the opportunity to “be the expert”. Each participant contributes to a collection of online articles providing how-to information to potential customers. Each article (text, video, or PowerPoint) utilizes the emerging marketing power of “authentic” communications and makes intensive use of integrated
social media. Each Business Fair Exhibitor package includes one free How To Santa Cruz article (a $100 value). Click here for more info.
Virtual Business Fair reflects each exhibitor’s presence at the Fair in a Website page. Core elements include a photo of the booth, a list of up to six “Ask me…” topics that visitors to booth or virtual booth can expect to have answered by the exhibitor, a hyperlinked summary of their How To Santa Cruz article, and links to and from the exhibitors
Website. The page can also include other photos, logos, text, and links. The exhibitor’s page will be indexed in both the Chamber site and the Business Fair pages, be web-search accessible, and indexed in Chamber marketing advertising for the Business Fair.
